Description

Sweet pears baked with feta, honey, and cranberries for a cozy sweet-savory dish.

Ingredients

Scale

4 ripe pears (Bartlett, Bosc, or Anjou)

1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese

1/4 cup cranberries (fresh or dried)

2 tbsp honey

1 tsp fresh lemon juice

1 tbsp walnuts or pecans (optional)

Fresh mint or thyme for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet.

2. Halve pears, remove cores, place cut side up.

3. Drizzle with lemon juice, top with feta, cranberries, and nuts.

4. Drizzle with honey and bake 20-25 minutes until tender.

5. Garnish with mint or thyme and serve warm.

Notes

Dried cranberries work if fresh are not available.

Add cinnamon or nutmeg for a seasonal twist.

Serve as an appetizer, side, or light dessert.
