Description
This high protein bagel recipe uses Greek yogurt to create chewy, golden bagels that are simple to make and full of flavor.
Ingredients
2¼ cups all purpose flour (or bread flour)
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1½ cups Greek yogurt
1 egg white, lightly beaten
Sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
2. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
3. Add Greek yogurt and mix to form a dough.
4. Divide dough into 6 pieces. Roll each into a rope and shape into bagels.
5. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with seasoning.
6. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden. Cool before slicing.
Notes
Store in airtight container for up to 4 days.
Freeze bagels individually for long-term storage.
