Description

This honey mustard vinaigrette is a perfect blend of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors. Smooth, creamy, and easy to make, it’s ideal for salads, marinades, or drizzling over grilled meats and roasted vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale

¼ cup mild coarse grain or Creole mustard

¼ cup apple cider vinegar (preferably with the mother)

¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil

¼ cup honey

2 cloves garlic, minced

Coarsely ground salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. In a blender or food processor, combine mustard, apple cider vinegar, honey, and garlic. Blend until smooth.

2. With the blender running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until fully emulsified.

3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

4. If you prefer a thicker, creamier dressing, mix in a small amount of mayonnaise or plain Greek yogurt until desired consistency is reached.

5. Transfer to a jar or airtight container and refrigerate before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1-2 weeks

Shake well before each use as natural separation may occur

For a creamier version, add mayonnaise or Greek yogurt

Adjust sweetness or tanginess by adding more honey or vinegar
