Description
This minced meat and egg stir-fry is a bold, fast, and flavorful one-pan meal made with ground beef, eggs, garlic, and chilies. Perfect for weeknights, it’s hearty, customizable, and ready in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 cup red chili peppers, thinly sliced
1/2 cup green chili peppers, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch ginger, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and cornstarch. Set aside.
2. Heat oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger, cook 30 seconds.
3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
4. Add red and green chili peppers. Stir-fry for 1 minute.
5. Push ingredients to one side, pour eggs into open space and scramble until softly set.
6. Mix eggs with beef and peppers.
7. Pour in sauce and stir until everything is evenly coated and thickened slightly.
8. Taste and season with salt and pepper.
9. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
Notes
You can use ground chicken or turkey instead of beef.
Add green onions or garlic chives for more flavor.
Drizzle sesame oil before serving for aroma.
